I. Checking – A player can go for checking, if no wager is there in the existing round of betting. The action is passed towards the subsequent poker player after checking by the player immediately in the clockwise direction.
Only the existing right of betting can be forfeited through checking, not the interest in the pot. The round is considered to be completed after the act of checking done by all the players during the betting round.
II. Betting – A player can go for betting, if no wager is there in the existing round of betting. If betting is chosen by a player, the action is passed towards the subsequent poker players immediately in the clockwise direction for the purpose of folding, raising or calling.
III. Folding - In the pot, all interests are forfeited with the act of folding. It’s not required for a player who is folding for wagering any further amount of money in the existing poker game.
IV. Call – A player can move towards calling on the existence of the wager on the current poker round. A player is required for matching the recent bet made by his/her opponent with the act of raising.
V. Raise - A player can move towards raising on the existence of the wager on the current poker round. A poker player is required for matching the recent bet, and making a bigger one. It is required for all the subsequent players for calling the raise or re-raise for maintaining interest in the gambling pot.
